Card making for volunteers

Last week was a card-making marathon for me. I have not done cards for so long and to produce many cards within a short period was quite fun and enjoyable.

First of all, I did some "Thank You" cards for volunteers. My scrapper friend Agnes is running a campaign to make cards for the needy and this time, to make cards for the volunteers. It is a good opportunity to use my stash (rather than have them lying in my storage) and create something meaningful.

Here are the cards that I made.

Wish I have time to do more.

Shall post other cards for another campaign in the next post. :)

My RAK to one lucky winner

Last week, I participated in a random RAK draw in the SBM group and was one of the winner to the RAK from Meiqi. She has decided to quit scrapbooking for good and it was saddened to hear that.

To continue the RAK spirit, I look through my stuff and came out with my RAK for other scrapper to win in a random draw tonight.

Good luck to those who participated. :)

Sept ATC - Sneak

I never realised that been a stay-at-home mum will also be affected by monday blues. Oh, what am I grumbling about when in less than an hour, it will be tuesday.

I participated in the Sept ATC with the theme - Appreciation/Thanks, hosted by Jie Ying. I finished them up fairly quickly. I was surprised too. But I like the overall look!

Here is the sneak.

I used the Hero Arts stamp that I bought from my scrapper friend - Yenni early this year. Loved the series. :)

Oh btw, I am the host for the October ATC theme and I have the theme in my head. Shall reveal soon next week.

Good night everyone.

July ATCs from members

The weather is hot today and makes me sleepy too. Surprisingly, I never depend on my fan. It is quite windy outside and the wind gets blown in from all directions.

What do you think of my July ATC? Did it make you drool?

Well, here are more ATCs from my friends on the exchange. Yummmmmyyy!!!

Don't they look great?

And every one of us also received a surprised RAK from Lena.

Thanks Lena!

July ATCs (Cupcakes theme) - Reveal

These days, I am so lethagic. Not sure if it was due to the haze outside and a week of school holiday break. I have no energy to sit in front of my laptop and blog. But I am determined to restart again. I was busy smashing my long overdue photographes which are 3 years old. *guilty*

Anyway, the best part of it was that I used my scrapbook materials - stickers, thickers, papers, ribbons, foam tapes, etc. I just hope that I won't buy more stuff till I finished majority of them.

I have received my July ATCs from Lena the hostess. The theme was cupcakes! It was quite a fun theme and my idea came fairly quickly.

First, I selected a stamp from Unity.

I picked the fork and knife and stamped on two different papers - yellow and white. The white served as a base, where i used foam tapes to stick both together.

Then, I used the cupcake stamp from Paper Smooches - Sugar Rush clear stamp.
I cut the cupcakes and coloured the base and cream. I glued yellow 3mm beads on the top to give it a 3D …
