My first handmade zipper pouch

I always wanted to sew birthday gifts for friends, now that I have my own sewing machine and of course, lovely fabrics bought so far. Just hope that with much practice, I can sell them online. :)

This is handsewed and machine-sewed, simply for my friend as her birthday gift. It is not perfect, but sewed with all my heart. Used Playday Summer Scattered Retro Daisies (SEI series for Robert Kaufman), plus a polka dot brown ribbon sewed inside the pouch to give a refreshing look. There is a padding in between too.

Now, she uses it to put her new iphone.

My Bounty of Basics Fat Quarter Box 2 - Urbanista Basic

This box came last night at 9.30pm from Speedpost. YIPPEE! Luckily, my hubby was around at home to receive it as I was out for company's staff appreciation night.

There are 8 colours of the same pattern. In fact, there are 100 fat quarters in this tiny box. I can do so much craftwork with these, thou fat quarters are meant for quilt making. Each piece is measured 18" x 21".

I want to share the closeup with you as I find it difficult to see from the seller's screenshot. Aren't they nice?

If you are interested to buy this, pm me. I will tell you where you can get. ;)

Hoot Hoot Pillow

My first pillowcase project. Found this design at Spotlight, Singapore at Plaza Singapura.

I was never an owl fan. Never at all. But this design triggered me to think twice about purchasing hoot hoot design. (Referrring to my earlier blog Fabrics Bought Online)

I am glad that my friend loves this design as much as I do. This was a Christmas gift to her.

Added a little pink element for covering the tip of the pillow. It is just perfect!
Now, I will not avoid looking at Hoot Hoot design again.

My Bounty of Basics Fat Quarter Box

Happy! Happy! Happy!
My parcel containing Kona Solids Fat Quarters arrived as promised this afternoon.

This is the light colour range of fat quarters from Robert Kaufman. Each measurement is 18 inch by 22 inch. I would love to get other ranges, however, not many places sell it and the one I saw on another website is cheaper than the one I ordered. But sad thing is they do not accept PayPal. *sad sad sad*.

I just did some research on small projects that I can do. Have jotted down in my Stitch notebook.

Let my dream continue of fabrics once more.
